Claude Thomas Salon and Spa talks to you about Microblading Brows

 What are Microblading Eyebrows
and
Can I use it?

Microblading is semi-permanent make-up, where through a manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin which will create the desired fullness and shape of the eyebrows. The effects last up to 12 months or longer.  After that time the pigment fades considerable or entirely leaving the skin and your natural brows exactly as they were.

Eyebrows are the most important facial feature. If you're not satisfied with the ones you have, there are so many ways to update them, including brow gel, pencils, and even tattooing. Now there's another option that is a very natural option that delivers semi-permanent results. This is Microbladed eyebrows. Unlike the sometimes Sharpie-esque effects of permanent makeup, microblading is more of an embroidery of trompe l'œil strokes that look just like real hairs.

Microblading is perfect for those who want to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps or fill-in over-plucked brows. It is also great for those who just want to add a slight arch and the results are a natural, undetectable fringe.

How does this differ from tattooing? During the microblading process, one uses a special microblading pen with specially designed needles to draw on individual strokes one by one.  It's an extremely meticulous process that takes around one to two hours to complete. The results will last for up to one to two years before beginning to fade  The first hour we’re drawing the shape in with a removable pencil. That’s the longest part and the most important step. During this time, the best-customized shape for every client is chosen.  This is not a rushed procedure, it cannot be done in an hour in most cases.

The best part about the technique is that there is no downtime. Your new set of brows will be ready for a selfie immediately after the process. It is recommended to have a follow-up one month after your appointment. "The healing process is different for everyone, and it takes between 25 and 30 days. After a month we recommend a 40-minute touch-up to most customers.

"Unlike eyebrow extensions, which you have to be careful about maintaining, microblading is low maintenance. After healing, you can rub them and enjoy swimming. No special care is required, except for a brief touch-up once a year." The smudge-proof solution will cost you anywhere $450. To $800.
